project 2026
My art celebrates the stunning light within us all. You can miss it on the news or online. Amongst all the noise and jockeying for our attention, it can be quiet and discreet, a restless insistence to help, to connect, to do the impossible. Art calls us to listen, heed this voice, show up without means or answers, and honor ourselves and each other.
Making art in service to this luminous force means that Iām most often involved in months-long, large-scale projects that can look and feel more like construction work than creativity. In 2026, I began a morning practice to feed my need to DO SOMETHING more quickly by making small works with words or lines of poetry that resonate in the moment, an effort to keep our attention on the world we want to create together.
